What Truckers Hub stores, why, and how to get rid of it. Updated 3 November 2026.

What we store

  • Your account: your Discord or Steam id, the name and picture they gave us, your email if Discord shared one, and the country and short bio if you add them. There are no passwords.
  • Sign-in records: each session keeps its IP address and browser name, so you can be signed out of other devices and so abuse can be traced.
  • VTC activity: which VTCs you belong to, your roles, your applications and answers, points, poll votes and convoy sign-ups.
  • Jobs: for every job the tracker sends: cargo, route, distance, income, damage, the times, and the raw details the game reported. They belong to you and, if you were an active driver, to the VTC that was credited.
  • Live driving: while you play, the tracker can send your in-game position, speed and current cargo. The live marker expires after 90 seconds without an update; recent trails are limited to 90 minutes and 600 points. Old position rows are cleaned up after 24 hours when new data arrives. Live visibility defaults to members of your active VTC; choose Off or Public in driving preferences. Off hides your marker and removes its recent trail immediately.
  • Tracker connection: browser-link requests expire after ten minutes. A short-lived code and proof verifier connect the app; account tokens never appear in browser URLs. Company credit contexts keep the history needed to attribute offline deliveries.
  • Paired computers: a name you gave and when it was last seen. The token itself is stored only as a hash.

Who can see it

  • Your driver name, member number, roles, rank, points and jobs are visible on the pages of the VTCs you belong to. Some of those pages are public.
  • Your email address, if we have one, is never shown to other members. VTC staff see your application answers and your driver name.
  • If a VTC connects a Discord channel, its staff choose what is posted there: new members, rank-ups, announcements, convoys. Those posts include driver names.
  • The site runs behind Cloudflare, which handles the traffic on its way to our server.

What we do not do

  • No advertising and no tracking scripts. The site sets one cookie, to keep you signed in.
  • We do not sell your data. Public driver/VTC pages and integrations selected by your VTC can share the activity described above.
  • The tracker reads job data and in-game telemetry. Recorded job routes are part of delivery history; live map visibility controls live positions, not completed public VTC deliveries. It never collects your real-world GPS position.
  • The tracker reads job data from the game only. It does not read your personal documents or capture your screen.

Keeping and deleting

  • You can download everything we hold about you, and delete your account, from your account page. Deleting removes your account, memberships, applications, paired computers and jobs.
  • If a VTC is deleted, everything it held goes with it, but its members keep their accounts.
  • Database backups are kept for 14 days, so deleted data can remain in a backup for up to that long.
